  • Why is having a showroom so important?
    A) Maintaining a showroom is a statement to our customers. We are a serious stable company that has been around for many years, and will be around for many more. You always know where to find us. The people selling blinds out of the trunk of their car can't say that. They are just a phone number, which can change or disappear in a single moment. B) Its great for clients to see our displays so they can see and touch what they are purchasing in advance. C) Because chain and cords have been banned on residential window coverings, it is extremely helpful to see and try out the new and varied operating systems.
  • Do you sell anything other that window coverings?
We are window covering specialists. We are experts of what we do. For many companies, window coverings are just an add-on to their core business of selling something else. Those companies do not have the expertise, and the huge selection of products that you will find at Blind Ambitions.
  • How experienced are your installers?
Our installers have been installing window coverings and only window coverings for many many years, and that is all they do.
  • What kind of warranty do your products have?
All of our products are made in North America. We only deal with reputable manufacturers who provide a "limited lifetime warranty" on all product. Most motors carry a five year warranty.
  • What is C.O.R. certification and why is it important?
C.O.R. is a safety program run by the Construction Safety Association of Manitoba (CSAM). To maintain our C.O.R. certification, we must meet very stringent safety standards and practices. This includes full safety training for all employees and subcontractors. We are audited annually in order to prove that these standards are upheld.
  • Are you properly insured?
We have five million dollars of liability insurance and are fully covered by Workers Compensation Board of Manitoba.
  • Do you do in home sales calls?
Yes, our decorators will bring samples to your home to help you choose the perfect style and colors for your home.
  • Do I need an appointment to visit your showroom?
You do not! You are always welcome to come look through our blind displays and drapery department. But if you feel you will need some advice from one of our decorators, or would like a quote, it is suggested you call ahead and book an "in store appointment".
  • Where is your custom drapery made?
